Egyptian Black Sand

Challenge
Egyptian Black Sand required a custom-sized weighbridge that went beyond standard dimensions, along with a solution built to withstand the challenges of a harsh coastal environment. This meant applying specialized steel treatment procedures to ensure durability and long-term performance.
The project also demanded rigorous coordination, requiring multiple approvals from both local authorities and Australian consultants and experts. In addition, several of the site’s tanks reach capacities of up to 2,000 tons, adding another layer of engineering complexity to the weighing system design.
Solution
To meet the project’s engineering and environmental demands, ZFA coordinated closely with its trusted partners to design and manufacture a fully customized weighbridge that matched the exact specifications required by Egyptian Black Sand.
We sourced and delivered all components through specialized suppliers, ensuring every part met the performance, durability, and compliance standards needed for coastal installation. Despite the complexity and custom nature of the project, we successfully delivered the complete solution within the client’s budget and in alignment with all consultant requirements.
